Turn Restrictions in Map Creator: Customized editing process

Dear Mappers,

Recently the process of adding and changing turn restrictions in the Map Creator has been changed and adapted.

Formerly the icons for the allowed or restricted turns were appearing when clicking on the street link. Apparently this led to some editing of turn restrictions by accident, means without the real intention to change them.

That’s why a new button to start with this kind of editing has been placed on the right side of the attribute window, between the “delete” button and the button for the Road Closure additions.

After clicking on this symbol the already known arrows (white on blue) appear at the end of this link and you can start to edit the turn restrictions, as shown below.

As you know MC shows you when it´s not needed to edit a turn restrictions because of a one-way-situation or when a restricted area starts after this link (see both cases below). Then you see the “no entry”-sign instead what should prevent you from adding a restriction.
